If two or more persons have voluntarily registered to reunite, a reunion consultant will facilitate a reunion.

The Registry facilitates a reunion by sharing basic information with each party. If both parties are comfortable with sharing their identifying information, this will be done. Staff will assist you in determining what type of contact you may wish to start with. You should meet the other person only when both of you are ready. If either of you feel unsure about meeting, Registry staff may suggest other options such as:

• seeing a counselor to discuss meeting the other person
• exchanging letters and pictures before phoning or meeting
